ACE Credit Hours Overview:

ACI Learning is accredited by the American Council on Education (ACE). This accreditation allows students to earn college credit hours for courses that are successfully completed through ACI Learning.

Students who elect to earn ACE credit hours for their courses will need to score a minimum of 70% on the end-course assessment. For more information on ACE credit hours and how they align with our courses, please refer to this guide.

Digital Badges Overview:

In addition to being eligible to receive college credits, students who successfully pass courses through ACI Learning can receive digital badges through Credly. Credly is an industry-standard, digital credential service provider. Credly works with thousands of organizations in the U.S. and abroad to help them create, issue, manage and track credential programs.

A digital badge is a portable, verified, graphic representation of knowledge and skills earned in various learning environments. Because digital badges are issued and verified online, unlike paper certificates, they make it easy for individuals to communicate their competencies to employers, clients, and peers. They also provide insight and evidence through detailed credential requirement descriptions and portfolio attachments. Each digital badge has a unique URL that can be shared electronically via social media, in an email signature, on a resume, and more.

These badges recognize academic achievements and allow students to share evidence of their accomplishments online. Badges can be uploaded to social media profiles (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and email signatures for enhanced visibility and skill set promotion. Students will receive an email that contains instructions on how to accept and share their digital badge from ACI Learning via Credly.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can the credits I earn from ACI Learning be applied to other institutions?

A: For the benefit of our students, ACI Learning participates in the American Council on Education (ACE) Transcript Service. The ACE Transcript Service is offered through Credly. Please note that each institution will have its own guidelines in terms of which credits will/will not be accepted for transfer.

To qualify for a transcript via ACE, students must pass the end-course assessment(s) for their course(s) with a minimum score of 70%.

Q: How many total college credits may I be eligible to receive?

A: The number of transferrable college credits through ACE depends on the course(s) completed, as well as the accepting institution’s guidelines on credit transfer.
